Accounts Assistant – Homes Income Team

About the Role
Pinnacle Group are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Homes Income Team within our Homes Division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong MRI Qube knowledge to support the accurate administration of tenant accounts and income transactions. You will be part of a busy team responsible for ensuring receipts are allocated correctly, accounts are reconciled efficiently, and financial information is maintained to a high standard.
The Homes Division offers trusted housing management across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties, partnering with local authorities, registered providers, and investors to help build thriving communities.
Key Responsibilities
Process and allocate receipts accurately within MRI Qube. Complete bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Set up and maintain tenant accounts and tenancy information. Raise charges and ensure records align with tenancy agreements. Support month-end and periodic finance activities. Maintain accurate financial records and account information. Address finance-based queries from internal & external stakeholders. Assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks.

Key Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
- Proficiency in MRI Qube (hands-on experience essential).
- Strong Excel skills (ability to handle large datasets).
- Experience posting receipts and performing bank reconciliations.
- Focus on accuracy and detail orientation.
- Disciplined organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a collaborative team.
- Advantageous: Experience within housing, property, or real estate sectors.
