Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant / Part-Qualified Accountant

Join a modern, forward-thinking accountancy practice of chartered accountants. Due to ongoing growth, we’re seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team, assisting with a busy workload.
About the Role
The successful candidate will perform end-to-end accounting tasks for a diverse range of clients, including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships, across the following areas:
- Accounts
- Tax
- Bookkeeping
- VAT
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Supporting corporate and income tax computations
- Handling ad hoc tasks as requested by management
- Maintaining client liaison as necessary

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently studying for AAT/ACCA/ACA
- 1–3 years of practice experience, preparing accounts, tax, and related responsibilities for a mixed client base (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies)
- A keen interest in a challenging, long-term role at Semi-Senior/Senior level within an expanding chartered accountancy firm
- Availability to commute to and work from the office full-time, at least temporarily
Benefits
- Salary: £25,000-£32,000 (depending on experience)
- 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
