About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join us as a Trainee Client Support. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with prior experience in an accountancy or finance environment, looking to build on existing knowledge while progressing towards their chartered qualification.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will contribute to a dynamic team, combining existing accounting expertise with a client service-driven approach. You will be responsible for:

- Supporting the preparation and review of statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to professional guidelines.
- Assisting with management accounts, including analysis, commentary, and financial forecasting.
- Providing tax compliance support, including preparing personal and corporate tax returns and meeting deadlines.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering a high standard of service.
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet deadlines, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive working culture.
Requirements & Skills
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Nearly complete ACCA/ACA qualification, or qualified through the AAT (minimum).
- Work experience in a similar accountancy or finance role.
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
Personal Attributes & Technical Proficiency
- Personable, with a passion for building and maintaining client relationships.
- ability to take initiative in adopting technology for workflow efficiency.
- Competent in Microsoft Office; experience with Xero or hybrid accounting software packages ideal.
