TPF Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable, forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Maidstone, who are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established practice with a strong regional presence, offering a great mix of audit and accounts work, exposure to a varied client base, and genuine progression prospects. The level of audit work can be built around the candidate's experience and aspirations.
The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will take on a varied and hands-on role, working across both audit and accounts assignments. You will manage your own portfolio while supporting managers and partners on larger engagements.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading audits from planning through to completion
- Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients
- Working with owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporates
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and relevant regulations
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification
- Strong experience in a mixed audit and accounts role within practice
- Good technical knowledge and a proactive approach
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
