I'm working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice that is looking to strengthen its team in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive firm where you'll work closely with managers and partners, take ownership of your own client portfolio, and help develop junior members of the team.

The Role

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and charities.
  • Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Preparing independent examinations for charity clients.
  • Producing draft tax computations and supporting tax compliance work.
  • Preparing VAT returns and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Liaising directly with clients, building strong working relationships, and responding to queries.
  • Reviewing accounts and audit work completed by junior team members.
  • Coaching and supporting trainees as they develop their technical skills.
  • Managing your own workload to ensure assignments are delivered within budget and deadlines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
