Accounts & Audit Senior – Chartered Accountants (Poole, Dorset)
TPF Recruitment is supporting a leading firm of chartered accountants in Poole, Dorset, in their search for an Accounts & Audit Senior.
About the Firm

This is a general practice role across accounts, audit, and tax, allowing you to shape your remit based on your experience and aspirations.
You’ll work with owner-managed businesses ranging from £10m to £50m turnover, including:
- 20% audit exposure
- A mix of varied client portfolios
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Accounts & Audit Manager, you will:
- Support owner-managed clients across accounts, audit, and tax
- Review and prepare year-end accounts, including complex sets
- Lead audits from planning to completion, coordinating with clients and the team
- Provide accountancy and taxation advice to clients
- Host pre- and post-audit meetings with key stakeholders
- Assist in team management, mentoring senior and intermediate staff
- Develop team skills through training, performance reviews, and structured development plans
- Contribute to client growth, retaining existing relationships and securing new prospects

Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified (ACA / ACCA)
- 2+ years’ relevant practice experience
- Experience in year-end accounts preparation (chattered accountancy firm required)
- Auditing experience, preferably in leading audit engagements
- Highly organised with strong planning skills
- Excellent communication (client-facing and internal)

Benefits
- Salary: £40,000–£45,000 p.a. (depending on experience/qualification status)
