Senior Accountant – Accountancy & Business Advisers (A&B) – Azets

The Opportunity
As a Senior Accountant at Azets, you will have:
- The ability and motivation to take ownership of your own portfolio, with full support from your manager
- A primary focus on delivering revenue and profitability targets
- The chance to begin developing enduring client relationships
Day to Day Duties
- Work to produce more complex annual statutory accounts for clients, including offering best practice advice and recommendations for partner review
- Provide accounting support to clients
- Mentor more junior team members, answering queries and guiding their professional journey
- Balance autonomous and teamwork-based duties
- Mentor junior staff members, maintaining high levels of internal and client communications
- Manage your own chargeable time budget and working towards expected utilisation percentages in line with goals
- Ensure accurate timesheets, properly analysing and recording work completed, with strict adherence to hourly logging
- Begin actively engaging in the fee process

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking newly qualified (or soon-to-be qualified) professionals who hold:
- ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role
