The North East Scotland Pension Fund (NESPF) administers the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) for over 78,000 members and 34 employers across the North and North East of Scotland. With assets valued at £6.6bn, NESPF is the third-largest Pension Fund in Scotland, playing a significant role in regional financial stability and long-term retirement planning to meet our primary objective of ensuring the payment of pension benefits to our members both now and in the future.

Role Description:
The Account Manager is a permanent, full-time role based in our office at Marischal Square, Aberdeen, with the potential for flexible working depending on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- To lead NESPF's Accounting Strategy and in-house Accounting team
- Contribute to the Senior Manager team in the day-to-day management of the Fund
- Prepare the Annual Report & Accounts
- Deliver a high performing, customer-focused Fund Accounting service through the provision of effective financial management and reporting
- Account for the Fund's assets and all monies received and paid from the Fund
- Manage compliance with all Aberdeen City Council policies and procedures
