Accounts Manager

We're recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded Mid Tier accountancy practice in Sidcup that's continuing to grow and is looking to appoint an Accounts Manager to join its successful team.
With an outstanding reputation in the market, an impressive client portfolio and a strong focus on employee wellbeing, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
You'll manage your own portfolio of owner managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients, acting as their trusted adviser across accounts and tax matters while building long term client relationships.

- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Providing clients with proactive advice and support
- Managing workflow and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value
- Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience with strong practice experience)
- Recent experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- A proactive approach with the ambition to continue developing your career
Benefits
- Salary of £55,000 to £65,000, depending on experience
