Description We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our Birkenhead office.

This role is ideal for a client-focused, technically strong accountant who enjoys building trusted relationships, managing a varied client portfolio, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering proactive, high-quality advice

Review statutory accounts prepared by the team and ensure compliance with UK GAAP

Oversee corporation tax computations and liaise with tax specialists where required

Manage deadlines and workflow, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard

Support and develop junior and semi-senior team members through coaching and review

Identify opportunities to add value and cross-sell Xeinadin services

Key Requirements ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Proven experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice

Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts and UK compliance requirements
