Job Summary
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will join a team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of:
- Supplier invoices
- Employee expenses
- AP-related payments
- Supplier master data maintenance for EMEA markets within the Finance Shared Services Centre
Essential Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Make additions and amendments to vendor master data in Navision and Oracle AP systems, aligning changes with Global Vendor Policy
- Process a high volume of invoices while adhering to company policies, including:
- Global Authorization Matrix
- SOX compliance
- Departmental KPIs
- Timely logging into the ERP system
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations specific to EMEA markets
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Provide clear and effective responses to both internal (Customer Services, Commercial/Sales) and external (Customer) queries
- Accurately process employee expenses within SLAs and CooperVision policies
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Accounts Payable processes, structures, and systems
- Maintain compliance with CHQ and CooperVision accounting policies

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
You must be able to:
- Operate effectively in a dynamic and changing environment
- Meet multiple deadlines under pressure
- Demonstrate high professionalism and organisational skills
- Preserve confidentiality
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understand and fulfill Shared Services Centre customer needs, consistently exceeding expectations
- Embrace a continuous improvement mindset
Ideally, you’ll have:
- 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative role within a financial, accounting, or administrative environment—preferably in a multinational or Shared Services context (not essential, but preferred)
Desirable (but not compulsory):
- Working towards AAT Qualification
