About the Role
Ensure smooth Accounts Payable operations with a focus on critical month-end closures, supplier payments, and compliance. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and uphold financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing & Supplier Coordination
- Accurately process supplier invoices within internal policies.
- Ensure compliance with invoice matching and approval workflows.
- Stabilise supplier liaisons for accurateodynamics including discrepancies.
- Monitor goods received and query requisitions as needed.

Banking & Payment Oversight
- Maintain and review supplier payment schedules with supervision.
- Process monthly financial adjustments, accruals and end-of-month reconciliations.
- Handle payroll, direct debit, and employee expenses with policy adherence.

Issue Resolution & Governance
- Investigate and resolve invoice-related queries promptly, escalating where necessary.
- Collaborate with all departments to resolve Purchase Order discrepancies.
- Assist in optimising local standard operating procedures and controls.

Cross-Functional Support
- Assist the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
We seek an Accounts Payable Assistant with: ✅ Proven ability in an Accounts Payable environment. ✅ Leadership in administrative and strategic organisation. ✅ Foundational knowledge of governance and compliance in finance. ✅ Fluent ERP workflow, invoice processing, and payment system experience.
Advantageous Qualification:
- CIMA, ACCA, or similar accountancy certification (not essential).
