Accounts Payable Assistant | 1–2 Month Contract | Shoreditch, East London | Weekly PAYE Pay
We're recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 1–2 month contract, with an immediate start available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid AP experience who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced environment and support the team during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Obtaining approvals for invoices and purchase orders.
- Coding and entering non-PO invoices.
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Preparing weekly and ad-hoc supplier payments (GBP, USD, EUR and other currencies).
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Allocating and posting payments.
- Managing supplier and internal finance queries.
- Supporting month-end activities, audit requests and AP administration.

What We're Looking For:
- Previous Accounts Payable experience within a retail head office
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
