This role is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Purpose:
To support the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors. This role is key to maintaining smooth financial operations and supporting the wider finance function.
Accountabilities:
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries.
- Maintain and update supplier records in the accounting system.
- Prepare payment runs and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding items.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- File and archive financial documents in line with data protection and audit requirements.
- Assist with ad hoc finance tasks and projects as required.
