Due to continuous growth here at British Garden Centres, we are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team.

Working within the Purchase Ledger team processing invoices through a paperless system, reconciling statements and handling enquiries. AAT is preferred but not essential.
Providing great customer service to our suppliers whilst building strong relationships across the business.
Who is proactive and has a genuine desire to deliver great customer service. Wants to build their career in a Finance function.

Skills Required
- Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail
- Highly numerate
- Strong planning, prioritisation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills, building strong relationships across the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Duties Will Include
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and preparing for payment.
- Ensuring credit notes are received and processed.
- Completing regular supplier statement reconciliations
- Building relationships with suppliers
- Investigating queries by communicating with our various departments and stores
