Role description

This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Payable Assistant role based in Gloucester, UK. The role will be responsible for:

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Reconciling vendor statements
  • Resolving invoice and payment discrepancies
  • Maintaining up-to-date accounts payable records

Skills and experience

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Norwegian
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and high level of accuracy to enable accurate processing and reconciliation of payables, identification of discrepancies, and support continuous process improvement
  • Experience of invoice matching, coding, and vendor statement reconciliation, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • High level of organizational skills to be able to prioritize workload and ensure strict deadlines are met
  • Effective communication skills to enable collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems, ideally Business Central
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
