Accounts Payable Clerk
Mayfair, London | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Auricoe has been exclusively retained by a leading global private investment firm to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join its finance team at its prestigious Mayfair headquarters.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing international business, working within a collaborative finance team responsible for delivering an efficient, accurate, and first-class accounts payable function.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, whilst helping maintain strong financial controls and supporting the wider finance team.
Whether you have gained experience within financial services, investment management, banking, professional services, or another corporate environment, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a highly respected organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and obtain the appropriate approvals.
- Prepare supplier payment runs in accordance with company procedures.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice queries.
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts and banking details.
- Respond promptly to supplier and internal stakeholder enquiries.
- Process employee expense claims and corporate credit card transactions.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Support process improvement initiatives across the accounts payable function.
- Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks where required.

Candidate Profile
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Previous experience within an Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, or Finance Assistant role.
- Experience gained within financial services, investment management, banking, professional services, or another corporate environment would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent levels of accuracy.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, positive, and team-oriented approach.
- Good Excel skills and confidence using finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar ERP systems.
