Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable Clerk – Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

We are now looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Finance team based in Glasgow, offering flexible hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, your daily tasks will include:

    • Setting up new supplier requests (without queries) within 48 hours of receipt
    • Processing invoices/expenses within 48 hours of receipt
    • Responding to emails in the Accounts Payable inbox with an initial reply within 48 hours
    • Forwarding invoices with buyer holds to the buyer within 48 hours of processing, followed by any necessary escalation
    • Ensuring matching of invoices to valid purchase orders
