Accounts Payable Clerk – Bradford (Hybrid)

Position Overview
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Bradford, reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is invoice processing and handling vendor queries, with a working pattern of Monday to Friday (35-hour week).
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Receiving invoices via email or post
- Drag and dropping invoices into the system for validation
- Processing invoices in the system by managing exceptions
- Matching invoices to POs (Purchase Orders) or coding to GL codes & cost centres
- Reviewing, modifying or cancelling invoices where necessary
- Answering vendor queries via email or telephone
- Resolving issues with suppliers
- Maintaining personal responsibility for supplier ledgers
- Meeting strict deadlines
- Performing any other duties related to the ledger

About the Role
We seek an individual with deep financial process expertise, ideally experience within a fast-paced finance environment. Prior familiarity with systems like SAP is advantageous, along with the ability to:
- Work independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Exhibit strong organisational skills (critical given processing volume)
Work Location & Hybrid Format
This role operates on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week required on-site at our Bradford office.
