The Job Role
Working within a large team you will be responsible for ensuring our suppliers' invoices are checked, processed, and paid within the terms of the payment cycles.
The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to a consistently high level of attention to detail along with the ability to handle large volumes of invoices.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Checking invoices against the Purchase Order
- Responsible for a section of the Accounts Payable Ledger
- Ensuring the 200+ invoices received daily are accurately processed
- Making sure invoices are approved in time to meet the established payment cycles
- Forecasting payments
- Completing monthly statement reconciliations
- Liaising with suppliers with regards to queries etc.
- Issuing payments in weekly and monthly payment cycles

Is this the role for you?
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
- Good MS Office skills especially Excel (Pivot tables, vLookUps)
- Great communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels across the business.
- Consistently able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good team player with good time management and ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks.
- Experience of working in accounts payable is an advantage but not essential.
