As an Accounts Assistant focusing on Accounts Payable, you'll play a key role in processing invoices and managing supplier payments to keep the business running smoothly.

Client Details

This company operates within the business services sector and is based in the Trafford area.

Description

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure records are up to date.
  • Handle payment runs and ensure suppliers are paid on time.
  • Resolve any invoice discrepancies by liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and file invoices appropriately.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.

A Successful Accounts Assistant - Accounts Payable Should Have

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
