Accounts Payable Clerk
Accounts Payable Clerk – 6-Month Fixed-Term Role (Glasgow)

The Role
Location: Glasgow Working arrangement: Full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract with flexible hybrid working
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Setting up new supplier requests within 48 hours of receipt (no unresolved queries)
- Processing invoices/expenses within 48 hours of receipt
- Replying to emails in the Accounts Payable inbox within 48 hours
- Emailing invoices with buyer holds to the buyer within 48 hours, following any subsequent escalation process
- Matching invoices to valid purchase orders

The Person
We’re looking for a self-motivated candidate with:
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams and accounting systems
- Proven time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Approachable demeanour with experience in engaging across all levels of stakeholders
