Position Overview
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Bradford. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this hybrid role requires 3 days on-site per week for a Monday to Friday, 35-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving invoices via email or post
- Validating invoices by dragging and dropping into the relevant system
- Processing invoices while managing exceptions
- Matching invoices to Purchase Orders (POs) or coding to GL codes & cost centres
- Reviewing, modifying, and cancelling invoices as needed
- Responding to vendor queries via email and telephone
- Resolving supplier-related issues
- Maintaining responsibility for your own supplier ledger
- Adhering to strict deadlines
- Performing other ledger-related tasks

Requirements & Experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong familiarity with fast-paced finance department environments
- Previous experience with new procedures, processes, and systems (advantageous if familiar with SAP)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills (essential due to processing volume)

About the Work Environment
The role operates in hybrid format, with 3 days on-site at our Bradford office.
