Opening in early 2029, Therme Manchester will be a world-class wellbeing resort welcoming more than 2 million guests each year. Combining thermal bathing, wellness experiences, water attractions, hospitality, and entertainment within a unique tropical environment, it will redefine wellbeing in the UK.
As we progress through a major construction and development phase, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our growing Finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial operations behind this landmark project.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable process within a fast-paced, transaction-heavy environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised finance professional who enjoys managing high volumes, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring accuracy across all payment activities.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will help maintain robust financial controls while supporting the delivery of one of the UK's most ambitious development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Process and coordinate supplier payments and payment runs.
- Support cashflow management and forecasting activities.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts and records.
- Create and administer purchase orders in line with company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with project teams, suppliers, and finance colleagues.
- Support month-end and year-end accounting processes.
- Help maintain strong financial controls and reporting standards.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in accounts payable within a high-volume finance environment.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing payment processes, reconciliations, and supplier queries.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of their work.
- A strong communicator who can build effective working relationships.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a growing project environment.

Desirable Experience
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA (or qualified through experience).
- Experience with Xero, SAP Concur, or similar finance systems.
- Experience within construction, property, infrastructure, or large-scale project environments.
- Knowledge of financial systems implementation and process improvement.
