Accounts Payable Manager | Luxury Retail | London | £45,000 | Permanent
I am supporting a high-growth, digital-first, omni-channel luxury retail business that is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to take full ownership of a busy AP function on a permanent basis.
This role reports directly into the Group Financial Controller and sits at the heart of a finance team going through a period of positive transition, including a recent NetSuite implementation. The environment is fast-paced, commercially focused, and customer-centric. They need someone hands-on, resilient, and comfortable taking control of a manual, process-heavy function while helping shape what comes next.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the timely and accurate processing of invoices, supplier management, and maintaining the integrity of the accounts payable process end to end. This is a doing role. You will lead by example and own the function rather than manage a large team around you.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Performing bank reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Managing aged creditors reporting and processing weekly payment runs and ad hoc supplier payments.
- Handling supplier queries professionally and efficiently.
- Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts.
- Processing staff expenses and credit card reconciliations.

- Comfortable operating in a manual process environment without needing heavy infrastructure around you.
- Strong Excel capability and experience managing multi-currency transactions.

- Resilient and solutions-focused with a genuine desire to improve what you inherit.
- NetSuite exposure is a must for this role.

The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to step into a permanent AP Manager role at a well-known luxury brand, with genuine scope to shape the function and play a meaningful part in the ERP transition ahead. The team is supportive and collaborative, but they need someone who can take control quickly and work with a level of autonomy from day one.
If you are at AP Manager or Senior AP level, have retail or high-volume AP experience, and are on a short notice period or immediately available, I would welcome a conversation.
