Accounts Payable Specialist (Hybrid) - DEKRA
Location: Hybrid – Stokenchurch or Southampton office
Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 per annum DOE + Excellent Benefits Contract: Full time, Permanent

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll:
- Keep the finance function running seamless.
- Ensure financial accuracy and timely cash flow.

A Day in the Life
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices, employee expenses, and company credit card transactions with precision and on time.
- Manage supplier payment runs, allocate outgoing payments, and maintain vendor master data.
- Reconcile accounts, including balance sheets, petty cash, employee floats, and credit cards.
- Support month-end processes with journals, reporting, and fixed asset tracking.
- Collaborate with the finance team, assist in audits, and continuously improve processes.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Essential Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of accuracy and deadline fulfilment.
- Proficiency in numerical tasks and a disciplined approach to financial processes.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a "can-do" attitude.
- Commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.

Nice-to-Have (but not mandatory):
- Experience using SAP FI/CO (Financial and Controlling modules).
- AAT qualification (Accreditation or in progress).
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or finance.
