We are recruiting for an ambitious Account payable assistant, reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be working alongside similar minded individuals whose main focus is to deliver a best in company back end finance delivery function.
Understanding of the whole invoice process, checking the invoice for the correct invoice date, due date, the amount, the knowledge of where to code the cost in the invoice if possible. Also, experience with supplier statement reconciliations would be great!

Key duties & responsibilities
- Processing and posting supplier invoices and credit notes accurately on our finance system (Yooz and Sage Intacct)
- Communicating with the wider business for invoice approval
- Ensuring supplier invoices are recorded on payment tracker and creating the weekly payment runs using the monthly budget files
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliation
- Monitoring mailboxes for all territories within the group
- Responding to supplier queries and resolving in a timely manner
- Maintaining supplier ledgers
- Creating new supplier accounts in Sage Intacct
- Processing employee expenses
- Providing assistance with audit queries
- Assisting the Accounts Payable Supervisor with ad-hoc tasks

Experience
- Basic knowledge and understanding of P+L accounts for accurate expenditure posting
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable function
- Previous experience using Sage Intacct and Yooz (desirable)
- Experience dealing with multi-currencies
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage own workload
- Proficient in Excel
