Our client, based in Erdington, is currently recruiting for a Accounts Payable Team Leader on a permanent contract.
The position is due to start ASAP and the salary is c.£33,300. This will be an office based role in Erdington.
The ideal candidate will have a background in accounts payable and previous supervisory/team leader experience.
Duties
- Assisting in delivering accounting functions mainly on Accounts Payable and to assist on Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Rent Income and Bank and any other adhoc duties where required
- Line managing one Finance Assistant (Accounts Payable)
- Maintaining robust financial processes, ensuring a strong audit trail for all transactions
- Processing transactions within agreed time scales
- Processing BACS payment runs and other ad hoc payments
- Working with and creating a culture of delivery and process improvement
- Ensuring accuracy in processing of transactional data and good quality process notes for all processes
- Assisting in year-end audit work

Experience required:
- Strong accounts payable background
- Previous position in a team leader/supervisor role
