About The Role
Join our Finance team as the Accounts Payable Supervisor. Based at our Head Office in London, this key role oversees the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies while leading and developing the AP team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, ensuring compliance with company guidelines
- Manage a high-volume, multicurrency invoicing system in SAP, validating and correctly coding entries
- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, employees, and auditors, addressing queries promptly
- Handle the group Accounts Payable email inbox with diligence
- Reconcile core stock purchase orders with goods received and supplier invoices, adjusting for surplus
- Close completed SAP purchase orders on time
- Perform monthly reconciliation of supplier and intercompany accounts
- Provide oversight on store and e-commerce sales reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Record and track bank transactions, conducting monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage and oversee the quarterly rent payments for company-occupied properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely settlement
- Control procurement of products and services via PO issuance to external suppliers
- Conduct mid-year and end-of-year reviews for the Accounts Payable department
- Ensure corporate credit card processing is accurate monthly, coding purchases to the correct G/L account and department
- Handle staff expenses processing
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts while adhering to company policy
- Identify opportunities to improve existing AP processes
- Support with ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Profile & Key Requirements
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable, with supervisory or team leadership in a similar role
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes and financial controls
- Advantageous: Finance, business administration, or accounting qualification
- Essential:
- Proficient in SAP (multicurrency invoices)
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reporting)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to liaise across internal teams and suppliers
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive process improvements
- Advantageous: Experience in fast-paced retail or fashion environments
