Account & Projects Manager | £50,000 | Liverpool
This is a newly created position combining project management, customer account management, and operational coordination. You will oversee installation projects from start to finish, support engineers on site, manage customer relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
The role would suit someone with a strong technical background in the fire and security sector who can confidently liaise with both engineers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships and act as the main point of contact for key accounts.
- Oversee installation projects from mobilisation through to completion.
- Conduct regular customer and site visits to monitor progress and service levels.
- Support engineers with technical, operational, and project-related requirements.
- Coordinate materials, suppliers, and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs, schedules, and profitability.
- Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging processes.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for additional works and account growth.
- Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.

Essential Requirements
- Experience within the fire, security, or related service industry.
- Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
- Experience coordinating or managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good commercial awareness and cost management experience.
- Ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and engineers.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and job management systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple fire and security disciplines.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous installation project management experience.
- Knowledge of relevant fire and security standards and regulations.
- Project Management qualification.
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification.

Our client is a well-established provider of fire and security solutions, delivering installation, maintenance, and support services to a wide range of commercial customers. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Account & Projects Manager to support project delivery and customer account management.
