Accounts Receivable Advisor
We have an exciting role on offer within our Resident and Business Support service as an Accounts Receivable Advisor.
We’re looking for a proactive and driven Accounts Receivable Advisor to join our busy, high-performing team, where your work will directly support the Council’s income and the services we deliver to our community.
As part of the Accounts Receivable team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring invoices are raised accurately and income is collected efficiently. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll manage the full debt recovery cycle, from raising sales orders and issuing debtor notices to progressing cases through legal action, including bankruptcy where required.

You’ll bring a professional, customer-focused approach while confidently handling challenging situations and delivering results.
You’ll bring experience from a customer-focused environment, with confidence handling both inbound and outbound communications. You will have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer environment
- A proven track record in debt recovery and achieving outcomes
- The ability to manage a varied workload and perform under pressure
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a genuine team spirit

Experience within an Accounts Receivable or similar financial environment is highly desirable.
