Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.

Overview Of Role

📍 Location: Liverpool, Merseyside

💰 Salary: up to £28,000pa.

🏢 Hybrid - working in the office 2 days a week and 3 days from home (subject to business needs).

Key Accountabilities

As an Accounts Receivable Advisor, your key responsibilities will include:

✔️ Chasing outstanding debt via phone, email, and letters — through to full collection.

✔️ Prompt and accurate cash posting and allocation on our system.

✔️ Handling high-volume debit notes daily with precision and efficiency.

✔️ Building and maintaining excellent relationships with both internal teams and external customers.

✔️ Staying on top of AR best practices — from credit applications to discount management.

✔️ Identifying and escalating issues early to keep things running smoothly.

✔️ Providing clear account status updates to operational and finance leads.

The Right Person

We’re Seeking a Detail-oriented And Proactive Individual With

✔️ Demonstrable experience in credit collection or a similar AR-focused role.

✔️ Strong communication skills — written and verbal.

✔️ Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot issues before they arise.

✔️ Great computer literacy — preferably with experience in SAP and D365.

✔️ The ability to manage your workload and meet targets with confidence.
