Accounts Receivable Analyst
Accounts Receivable Assistant
Hybrid – 4 days per week working from home | Brighton (BN1 4FY)
Salary: £24,900 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
About the Role
Working within the UK Support Functions of Bupa, you will play a vital role in enabling our customer-facing teams to deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care. This opportunity allows you to contribute directly to making a positive difference in people’s lives every day.
As part of the Finance Operations Department, specifically within the Accounts Receivable team, you will collaborate with departments both domestically and globally. The role involves ensuring the accurate, complete, and timely processing of payments, handling associated administrative tasks, investigating queries, supporting colleagues, and maintaining compliance with necessary controls—including clear records and audit trails.
Key Responsibilities
Support with the time-sensitive Daily Cash Application.
- Investigate, clear, and escalate Unapplied Transfers in a timely manner.
- Ownership of the Paystack process, ensuring seamless execution.
- Manage Direct Debit Failure Reports and support HKSCB Direct Debit (DD) processes.
- Process Credit Card Failure Reports, ensuring balances reflect correct policies.
- Prioritise and manage the SLA for the Accounts Receivable inbox, collaborating with stakeholders as needed.
- Assist with bank queries, investigations, and escalations.
- Support the Finance Operations Team in audit readiness, including evidence gathering.
- Manage and clear pending Task List items for the Accounts Receivable Team.
- Investigate and gather data for Worldpay-related issues.

Requirements
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally within the insurance sector.
- Confidence in payment allocations and reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and communicate clearly.
- Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing workloads under tight deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable ownership of problems to drive resolution.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and stakeholder management.
