OEG is a leading energy solutions business, providing mission-critical infrastructure assets and services to the global offshore energy industry. Through our specialist divisions - topside, marine, subsea, cables, logistics, and industrials, we are a pivotal link in the global offshore energy project chain, ensuring our customers’ projects are delivered safely, reliably, and efficiently. We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our Topside Division.

Core Purpose
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the OEG Renewables Topside sales ledger for allocated service lines and customer accounts, ensuring timely invoicing, efficient cash collection, and excellent financial administration.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Prepare, issue, and submit accurate sales invoices for assigned service lines, ensuring compliance with customer-specific invoicing processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to resolve billing queries and ensure invoicing issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Process and accurately allocate bank transactions for assigned customer accounts, ensuring payments are recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.
  • Monitor outstanding customer balances and proactively manage credit control activities to support timely payment and minimize overdue debt.
  • Support month-end financial close activities, including the preparation of revenue accruals to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Monitor and review project billing and associated costs, ensuring transactions are accurately allocated and recorded.
  • Support ad hoc finance and business improvement projects across OEG Renewables, contributing to the successful delivery of departmental and organizational objectives.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger, or Finance Assistant role is desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience using finance or ERP systems is desirable.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving, with excellent organizational skills.
