About the role
Working as part of the Accounts Receivable team, this role is responsible for the accurate processing of daily retail sales and associated debtor account reconciliations. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting cash flow management, and ensuring customer accounts are managed effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily posting of sales for the Retail business
- Daily reconciliation of cash banked against store reports and details from cash collection company
- Reconciliations of payments received to sales data across all tender types and sales channel
- Allocating receipts against partner debtor accounts
- Monitoring of aged debt and resolving late payment issues, escalating as appropriate
- Month end reconciliation of sales and margin between finance and ERP systems
- Understanding any differences and working with all parties to resolve
- Building relationships with Concession and Marketplace partners
- Posting manual bank entries daily
- Understand and communicate monthly debtor reports and bank reconciling differences in detail to senior finance team
- Liaise with internal teams and company charity regarding regular payments of fundraising activities
- Liaise with banks, card processing companies and external auditors in UK and Republic of Ireland
- Support the Accounts Receivable Manager as required

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Some experience within either accounts receivable or cash management
- Advanced Excel user
- Confident to challenge existing processes and develop improvements
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent reconciliation skills
