Accounts Receivable Manager | Residential Property | Stockport (with travel to London)
We're working with a fast-growing UK residential property platform to find an Accounts Receivable Manager to build and lead their AR function from the ground up.
This is a foundational hire at an ambitious business backed by one of Europe's largest residential landlords. You'll design the processes, implement the controls, and own the AR operation as the portfolio scales across multi-family and single-family residential, before building a significant sized team.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end AR function: billing, rent collection, cash application, reconciliations, deposits and arrears management
- Deliver clean, timely month-end close with a clear audit trail
- Lead the AR workstream in a new property management system implementation
- Manage the arrears cycle from early intervention through to formal recovery
- Build AR reporting and KPIs that give leadership confidence in cash performance
- Start as a one-person function and hire and grow a team from 2027 as the portfolio expands

Key Requirements
- Solid AR experience in a real estate environment
- Proven ability to design processes and controls from scratch, not just operate within existing ones
- Strong track record in cash collection and arrears management
- Experience contributing to a property management or finance system implementation
- Comfortable as a hands-on operator today, with the ambition to lead a team over time
