Accounts Semi-Senior – Music and Entertainment Industry (London)

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including:
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Month-end and year-end closing
  • Financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with:
  • UK GAAP
  • HMRC regulations
  • Industry-specific financial standards within the music and entertainment sector
• Prepare and review:
  • Financial statements
  • Management reports
  • Performance dashboards for internal stakeholders and external auditors
• Provide advisory support to business units on:
  • Financial planning
  • Budgeting
  • Cost control initiatives
• Collaborate with legal and tax teams to ensure accurate treatment of:
  • Royalties
  • Licensing fees
  • Intellectual property income
• Monitor and maintain compliance with:
  • Contract terms
  • Royalty statements
  • Distribution agreements across artist and label portfolios
• Lead reconciliation of complex revenue streams, including:
  • Streaming
