Are you currently studying towards your AAT or ACA/ACCA qualification, or already building your experience within practice? Join our Farsley team as an Accounts Semi-Senior where you'll support a varied portfolio of clients, develop your technical expertise, and work closely with experienced professionals across accounts and taxation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting company tax compliance.
  • Assisting with the preparation of personal tax returns.
  • Liaising with clients to request and manage information efficiently.
  • Ensuring files are completed accurately and delivered to deadlines.
  • Supporting senior team members and managers with client work and ad hoc assignments.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
  • Recording chargeable time accurately and supporting billing processes.
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Key Requirements

  • AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA (or equivalent).
  • Experienced in preparing accounts within a practice environment.
  • Familiar with accounting software including Xero and Sage; experience with CCH would be advantageous.
  • Confident in preparing both company and personal tax work.

Additional Requirements

  • Punctual, organised, and able to manage your workload effectively.
  • A strong communicator with excellent client service skills.
  • Able to drive and travel when required.
  • Happy to work predominantly from the office, with the opportunity for one day per week working from home following successful completion of probation.
