Accounts Senior
Accounts Senior Stirling
Meraki Talent is working with one of the most recognisable names within the Accountancy & Finance world in Scotland, with a prolific history spanning 9 decades and offices all over the country. They have built an impressive portfolio consisting of a wide variation of sectors including Construction & Property, Food & Drink, Professional Services and Life Sciences to name a few. Their client base is composed of sole trade, owner managed businesses up to multinational listed firms.
The Role
As Accounts Senior the successful candidate will join as a valued member of the team and hit the ground running while fulfilling a range of General Practice duties such as bookkeeping, converting data, producing accounts and offering support to the team on practice wide matters amongst a host of other tasks.

Effectively producing statutory accounts, management accounts and Tax returns. Offering advice to clients on both corporate and personal tax affairs. Supervising and engaging in VAT and tax investigations. Dealing with HMRC and external stakeholders. Assisting junior team members with training and development. Converting data from both client papers and spreadsheets. Recording on a wide range of different software packages including XERO, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Sage.

The Person
Previous experience of operating in an accountancy practice. Part Qualified - ACCA/ICAS/AAT. Experience and capacity to finalise accounts up to trial balance stage trough to final accounts, corporation tax, personal tax computations and client liaison. The ability to aid clients with business planning and cash flow management. Well versed with XERO, FreeAgent, QuickBooks and Sage.
