Accounts Senior – chartered accountant practice in Salisbury
About the Role
TPF Recruitment are representing a progressive and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants in Salisbury, seeking to recruit an Accounts Senior to expand their Accounts & Business Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to:

Responsibilities
As an Accounts Senior, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services to clients. Key duties include:
- Preparing annual financial statements for:
- Limited companies
- Partnerships
- Sole traders
- Trusts
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing guidance
- Supporting with:
- Management accounts
- VAT returns
- Other business support services
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, developing strong relationships and responding efficiently to queries
- Collaborating closely with managers and partners to assist with complex assignments and projects

Requirements
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Is ACA/ACCA qualified (or studying towards qualification) or qualified by experience
- Has prior experience in general practice, specifically in:
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Tax returns
- Demonstrates proficiency in:
- Computerised accounting packages
- Cloud-based systems
- Exhibits strong:
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Commercial awareness
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, including supporting junior colleagues
- Is eager to progress within a forward-thinking firm offering clear career advancement opportunities
Benefits
- Salary: Circa £38,000–£45,000 (depending on experience)
