Senior Accountant | Peterborough Area | £30,000 - £40,000
A long-established accountancy firm offering a full range of accountancy and tax services to local businesses and individuals - sole traders, partnerships, BTL owners, and SMEs. They're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team on a full-time basis.
The role:
You'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio, working across accounts production and tax compliance with exposure to a broad range of entity types.

Day to day you'll be:
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies through to partner review stage
- Completing corporation tax computations and self-assessment tax returns
- Handling client queries and building direct client relationships
- Mentoring and supporting junior and trainee staff
- Contributing to the wider team on ad hoc accountancy work as required

What they're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in public practice
- ACA or ACCA qualified — or actively studying towards qualification
- Proficient across Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Excel
- Organised, accurate, and able to manage your own deadlines
- Office-based
