The Accounts Senior Role

Description
- Prepare and review financial statements and statutory accounts for clients.
- Manage bookkeeping and VAT submissions for a range of businesses.
- Assist clients with tax compliance and advisory matters.
- Support junior team members, providing guidance and reviewing their work.
- Ensure timely delivery of work to meet client deadlines and expectations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless client experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss financial performance and strategies.

Profile
A Successful Accounts Senior Should Have
- Professional qualifications or part-qualifications in accounting (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements and statutory accounts.
- A strong understanding of tax regulations and VAT requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Competence in using accounting software and tools.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
