Location: Bradford (office-based) Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) Hours: 35-hour week (early Friday finish) Contract: Full-time, office-based

We are partnering with a growing independent accountancy practice in Bradford, which is embracing significant change and dynamic leadership. They are now looking for an Accounts Senior / Accounts Assistant to:
- Manage clients and workload
- Mentor junior members
- Give back to the team through support and development

Client Management
- Leading a portfolio of SME clients across diverse sectors.

Year-End Accounts Preparation
- Completing accounts for limited companies.

Tax Work & Compliance
- Handling personal tax returns (for directors) and corporation tax returns.

Bookkeeping & Advising
- Assisting with day-to-day financial support for clients.

Training & Development
- Mentoring and guiding junior staff to ensure growth and confidence within the team.
Requirements
- Experience: Approximately 5 years working in a practice environment.
- Qualifications: AAT qualified (or QBE experience will be considered).
- Technical Skills:
- Year-end accounts and tax return preparation confidence.
- Comfort in managing client expectations and relationships.
- Software Proficiency:
- Experience with Xero, Sage, or similar accounting software.
- Excellent to have: Dext knowledge.
- Optional: Prior CIS experience (not strictly required).
