Location: Letchworth Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week Working arrangement: Hybrid (flexible between office and home) Holidays: 22 days (increasing to 25 days after 5 years', including bank holidays)
About The Accounts Senior Role

We are looking for a **dedicated Accounts Senior to join our team in Letchworth.
We seek candidates who are:
- AAT qualified, or currently ACA/ACCA part-qualified
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice
As an Accounts Senior, you will primarily focus on accounts preparation, while working across a diverse client portfolio. This role provides opportunities to:
- Develop your technical expertise
- Collaborate closely with senior colleagues and partners
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory accounts for owner-managed businesses
- Drafting corporation tax computations (under supervision)
- Liaison with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Compliance with accounting standards and deadlines
- Assisting with personal tax return preparation
- Supporting junior staff and contributing to a collaborative team environment

About You
To excel in this role, we require:
- 2–3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Currently studying, or **willingness to study, for ACA/ACCA (preferred)
- Experience in accounts preparation
- Attention to detail and strong organisation skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
