Accounts Senior
We are looking for a reliable Accounts Senior to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the practice with day-to-day bookkeeping, client accounts, and routine accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is organised, numerate, and comfortable working with accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Assist with some bookkeeping clients
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with VAT record keeping.
- Manage payroll processing and pension auto-enrolment tasks.
- Assist with some CIS Returns
- Assist with preparation of Accounts and Tax Returns.
- Communicate with clients to resolve queries and gather information.
- Support senior accountants.
- Manage MTD for the practice

Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and external parties.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
- Payroll experience to a high level
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
