Role Description
The Accounts Senior/Semi-senior will support a portfolio of growing business clients with high-quality accounting, reporting, and advisory services.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial accounts
- Assist with tax and compliance work
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Support the production of meaningful reports and analysis
- Regular communication with clients to ensure they receive the necessary support and advice
- Work as part of the team, including training and developing junior members

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Northampton.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to:
- Interpret financial data
- Produce clear, insightful reporting
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts in a straightforward, client-friendly manner
- Solid finance knowledge, with:
- Experience in management accounts
- Tax and compliance responsibilities
- General accounting principles
- Strong client-facing skills emphasising:
- Building trust
- Managing expectations
- Prompt responsiveness
- Effective account management skills, including:
- Managing a client portfolio
- Prioritising workloads
- Meeting deadlines
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA) recommended or progressing toward qualification is beneficial
- Proficiency with:
- Accounting software
- Excel
- Comfort with cloud-based systems
- Ability to work:
- Collaboratively within a small team
- Adapt to needs of growing businesses
