About TC Group

Our office in Chorley is currently seeking an enthusiastic Trainee to assist with various accounting duties day to day.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of an Accounts Trainee will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping using cloud based software such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Assistance with the preparation of personal tax returns
  • General office administration tasks

About You

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • 5 GCSE passes, including Maths and English
  • A Levels grade A* to C, ideally in an Accounting related subject
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft software, particularly Word and Excel
  • Is eager to progress and develop, with the willingness to adapt
  • An effective communicator and listener and who and would collaborate well with the rest of our team
  • Wants to make a positive impact on our firm and be part of our journey into the future
  • Demonstrates a high level of honesty and integrity
