About The Role

We’re seeking a talented Acoustic Engineer (or Senior Acoustic Engineer) with a focus on building acoustics to join our London team. This is a highly supportive, collaborative, and career-growth opportunity involving project leadership, client engagement, and design innovation.

As part of an award-winning team, you’ll work across a diverse range of projects, from healthcare and hotels to music venues, modern workplaces, and complex, design-led environments across the UK.

  • Working within multi-disciplinary project teams to develop innovative acoustic design solutions
  • Leading small to medium-sized projects from concept to completion, with support from senior colleagues as needed
  • Conducting acoustic surveys and measurements in diverse environments using cutting-edge tools and techniques
  • Performing modelling, calculations, and analysis using both in-house software and commercial packages (e.g., ODEON, CADNA/A, NEA) to inform design decisions
  • Engaging with clients, consultants, and project teams, contributing confidently to discussions and design development
  • Producing clear, actionable recommendations through written reports, sketches, presentations, audio demos, and interactive media
  • Driving a culture of creativity and innovation, proactively improving acoustic quality across all projects

About You

To excel in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A strong foundation in acoustics, with direct experience delivering building acoustic projects from design through to realisation
  • A desire to grow into a more senior role, taking on increased responsibility
  • A relevant degree:
    • A bachelor’s or master’s in Acoustic Engineering (or equivalent); OR
    • A degree in another discipline complemented by an IOA Diploma
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A friendly, proactive, and positive mindset, with enthusiasm for high-quality design solutions
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment
