Acquire Weekly helps serious buyers acquire profitable businesses through deal sourcing, acquisition strategy, financial review, financing support, and deal execution.
We are looking for an Acquisition Consultant to join our sales team. We are looking for someone with real exposure to M&A, business acquisitions, private equity, investment banking, business brokerage, due diligence, lending, or deal advisory who can learn how to sell our service properly.
The right person understands how buyers think, how deals are evaluated, and why acquisition criteria, capital, financing, diligence, and execution matter.
You will be speaking with prospective buyers who are looking to acquire businesses, understand their goals, assess their fit, educate them on the acquisition process, and help determine whether Acquire Weekly is the right partner for them.
Responsibilities
- Speak with prospective acquisition buyers on scheduled calls
- Understand their acquisition goals, timeline, capital, buy box, and level of seriousness
- Educate prospects on the business acquisition process
- Help buyers understand what makes a strong acquisition target
- Identify gaps in their current search, strategy, financing, or diligence process
- Present Acquire Weekly’s services clearly and professionally
- Follow up with qualified prospects and move them through the decision process

What We Are Looking For
- Experience or strong working knowledge in M&A, business acquisitions, private equity, investment banking, business brokerage, SBA lending, financial analysis, or due diligence
- Ability to communicate complex acquisition concepts in a simple, practical way
- Comfortable speaking with high-income professionals, entrepreneurs, operators, and investors
- Coachable, competitive, and willing to learn a structured sales process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High accountability and ability to follow up professionally

What We Are Not Looking For
- Someone who only has generic sales experience with no understanding of acquisitions
- Someone who relies on hype, pressure, or scripts without understanding the buyer
- Someone who cannot explain financial or acquisition concepts clearly
- Someone who needs to be micromanaged
Nice to Have
- Experience reviewing CIMs, financials, LOIs, SBA financing, or business listings
- Experience working with first-time buyers, investors, or small business owners
- Prior experience in high-ticket sales or advisory services
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates and will depend on experience, performance, and role fit.
