Actemium Automation Hampshire, part of VINCI Energies, is looking for a skilled Software Controls Systems Engineer to design, develop and commission PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions for clients in manufacturing, process and regulated sectors. What You’ll Do
- Develop and deliver control system software from design to handover
- Configure PLCs, SCADA and industrial comms networks
- Conduct FAT/SAT testing, commissioning and site integration
- Provide documentation, technical support and system updates
- Collaborate with clients and multi-disciplinary teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement and shared standards
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell/AB, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Siemens)
- SCADA/HMI development skills (Aveva System Platform)
- Knowledge of industrial comms (Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus, OPC/UA)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within project teams
- Degree in Controls/Software/Electronics or similar (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence

Desirable
- Experience in regulated industries (Water, Oil & Gas)
- Knowledge of ISA-88/95, GAMP, MES, Python or SQL
